Monday, May 24, 2004 get you!
also, my hatred for college kids was reaffirmed last night. i'm also going to include the graduating class of 2004 to that list.

okay. that's why i thought the situation was a bit more than i just thought it was. i forgot that next month vince and drew are moving out. jeff was going to move to chicago, but he might stay now, since he got these two promotions that are very important. our buddy grant just moved back to omaha and is looking for a place to stay. jeff asked me if i want to move with him into a place if he stays. i want to stay in the midtown area, since i don't have a car, it's very central to everything.
i don't know. it'll work out.
ps: last night at work sucked!

in a bit of a quandry. not a bad one, just really hectic. i want to quit the health food store and get one or two of my buddies hired. then i have to work out my schedule at cali taco, and make my schedule at ted & wally's.
it's not even that hard, it'll just take like 10 minutes, but i don't know...
chris works at paypal and he got a call on friday (who he thought was me). this guy wanted to make a transaction or something to his account. but the credit card is under his wife's name, so chris told him to have his wife call back when she got home. so this guy said, "oh, wait! here she is." and started banging pans and making footsteps, and, in the most ridiculous guy doing a girl voice, goes, "hi, this is alice."
and chris just said, "uh, sir?"
and he said, "not buying it, huh?"
lol! you had to be there.

Friday, May 21, 2004 get you!
just read the new rollingstone. motley crue are reuniting for a reunion tour next year. super stoked!!!
oh, and about that andrew wk show the other week, best show ever. let's just say that half the crowd was on stage throughout the performance, stage diving, and dancing. during the last song, "party hard," me and my friend jackie were up there, arms around him singing along to the chorus.
so california was good stuff. got to see mike and met up with catherine. frisco was great. i've been there several times before and loved it, but this was the first time that i traveled using public transportation and visited the inner city.
i've got a third job now with my roommate drew at california taco. hopefully i can get more hours there, since the former best job in the world (jane's health market) has become the worst job in the history of mankind. i like the job and all, i just don't like the new owners. at least the wife. she talks and talks and talks and it's the most annoying thing in the world.
tomorrow should be a fun night, for reasons i don't care to elaborate on.
just finished reading perks of being a wallflower again. i can't believe how great a book that is. i bought trainspotting while in frisco, but it's very hard to read since the narrator has a scottish accent. i don't know. maybe it's not that bad, but i was drunk when i first started reading it and couldn't get very far. so now i'm reading rule by secrecy.
i'm wondering what i'm going to do tonight. my old roommate and his girlfriend want to hang out at our place, so i'm stoked. haven't seen them in a while.
my boss (from ted & wally's) and his friend picked me up from the crescent moon the other night and took me to this new club at harrah's called stir. it's this stupid looking, trying way too hard to be hip place that looks like it'd be expensive as hell to drink there. drinks were only $3. got gin & tonics (with bombay) for $4.75. it wasn't that bad, too, since i made joe by my drinks. hehehehe!
anyway, we were sitting in the patio seating and behind us was this abandoned area. so joe kept tossing the empty glasses over. funny shit. his friend kept getting mad and threating to leave us there. yeah, great story, brett.
another thing this club has are instead of pitchers, they have these bong looking things with a tap on it. we kept seeing empty tables with beer still in those, so me and joe kept bringing them to our table and filling our glasses up.
all right, i'm outs!

i hate this new blogger set up. i just lost a blog, so here it goes again. so, now that the weather's getting better, we're getting busier at the ice cream shop. and now that we're getting busier, and realizing one of the things that i hate the most about being busy, and it happened the other day: "which one's ted, and which one's wally?"
for those not in the know, the shop is called ted & wally's. and you hear it all the time and it makes you want to bash their heads against the counter.
peace!
