Thursday, July 31, 2003 get you! so the other night there was a show scheduled at our ice cream shop featuring: toys that kill, rivethead, and caulfield. i was super stoked to see toys that kill. the thing is, though, that omaha kids suck. no one comes to shows and stuff. so no one at all came (actually, just one girl came. but she was from out of town, so that doesn't count), and the show ended up being cancelled. sucks. we done got drunk, though. uh, i'm waiting for the wash to be done... i have no socks. i just got a super 8 camera. need to get film and shit. muh fayice. Mr. Breakfast partied hard at 11:23 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2003 get you! watched this at the theatre this past weekend. it's such a cute way of showing people about bad parenting. wonka is not a pedophile. so i have a plethora of books in which i'm reading now. the reason is that on tuesdays i have a 2 1/2 hour gap between jobs. on several occassions i have forgotten my current book at home. so i stop by the book shop and get a new book. so yesterday i started reading this and this one. that was then, this is now is good and easy. i've seen the film several times. i don't think they mentioned it in that film, or even used the same name as the character in the book. but they kept referring to this guy as curtis. then in one scene in the book, he gets introduced to someone and says, "hi, i'm ponyboy curtis." i also got this the other day. super stoked. i've seen it loads of times, but this has extra stuff. you know, dvd extras. oh yeah, did i mention that i got a dvd player a while back? it doesn't have a remote so i can just play the disc. it sucked when i borrowed the simpsons dvd, because i could only watch the first episode. i'm outs. Mr. Breakfast partied hard at 11:06 PM Monday, July 07, 2003 get you! super stoked. i haven't been keeping track of wrestling recently, as i've been working lots. but me roomie justin informed me last night of this. i was also scheduled to work on friday night. so after all that jazz, i'm off, and we're stoked. last night was weird. i drank way less than usual, but i woke up at 11 today. i start work at 830 to open the store by nine, and usually the other workers don't get in till 11, so i was pretty panicked, but it was all cool. they were, at first, really surprised that i was late, but later they got worried that i wasn't going to show up at all. they also didn't have my phone number.
